Swap ATV HD with iBook HD to run Tiger

I got a free 1st gen apple tv from a friend and want to replace the HD with one from an old iBook that has tiger installed on it. I dont care about keeping the ATV's functions or OS, so would essentially be turning it into a lite-mac mini. Will the new drive boot up with the logic board in the ATV? This would be great for running old NES and SNES emulators / games. What's the word?
