Swap Backup Between 2 iPhone... Possible?

I have 2 iPhone's. 5 & 5s. Simple question is, Can I take a backup of 5 & 5s in iTunes, then restore it by swapping the phones? Meaning..Restore backup of 5s on 5 and so on...

some of the settings and data is important and need it, so can't take a risk of loosing it.
