Resolved Swap iPhones?

Sorry for the dumb question, but if my wife and I want to swap iPhones for the day (she has an SE & I have the 7), is it as simple as swapping out SIM cards? Is there any more to it? Anything else I ought to consider or be concerned about?

That should take care of the phone numbers associated with the phones being swapped. I'm not sure that will do the trick for anything beyond that, like various things associated with Apple ID/iCloud (iMessage, FaceTime, iCloud in general, Mail, App Store, iTunes, etc.) or things on the device itself, like apps and so forth.

Yes, the phone number will be swapped when you switch sims.
All other settings like apps, email accounts and everything else on the device will stay the same.

Its not "that easy" if you have ATT. Trust me, I've tried and something always messes up somehow. ATT uses the IMEI to kick you off unlimted data plan and make some excuse so you have to jump hoops to get it back. happened to me twice when switching SIMS. Just be cautious

I never had that problem with att and I had an unlimited iPhone data plan for over 8 years.
I just swapped my sim to other iPhones without any problems.
It is that easy, it's gsm tech.

wish i was in your situation. I had ATT for 7 years and ive had too many issues with them pulling fast ones like that on me. My friend used to be a manager for ATT and said they were trained to basically lie and switch things around. Maybe it was because my switching of phones wasnt from iphone to iphone? All I know is that it happened twice and both times they said "the IMEI of the new device isnt compatible blah blah"

I only swapped between iPhones.
The iPhone data plan is not compatible with all cellphones.

You can only swap an iPhone sim for another iPhone sim to retain the iPhone data plan.

ah makes sense. My dad swaps iP to iP as well with no issues. since I already went off topic, ATT also booted me out in store and online for upgrades or other things. They really didnt want me to have my UDP lol

Yes, every time I talked to an att rep they hounded me to switch away from my unlimited data plan.

Get rid of all side chick texts, emails, FB messages, pictures etc.
Double and triple check before you hand it over bro
