I have a Late 2011 15" Higher end Mid-Range Model MacBook Pro (Intel 3000 & AMD Radeon HD 6750M, both 512MB Graphics Card)

Is it possible to swap the Top Case of mine (normal resolution) with the anti-glare or glossy high-re screen?

Thanks!

Not possible. The low-res screen and high-res glossy/antiglare have different number of pins with the display connector (from what I read elsewhere).

This is driving me crazy! Its like a 50/50 split of people saying it works and it doesn't work.. I want to know if it has even been tried!

I had a 2012 MBP, that went into service for Apple for a faulty display. It went in with a high-res screen (1050x1680) and came back low-res (900x1440), so obviously I had them swapped back!

Basically, as far as I know they should be compatible... hope that helps :)

Think I'm going to call my apple store and a few of the "authorized service providers" to see if
