Swapping an application from one desktop to another

Is it possible to swap an application, opened on one desktop, to another desktop?

yup,

use mission control while on the desktop with the open app.
then simply drag the window on the desktop you want it to be on.

you can also go to the desktop you want the application to be on, then right click the application's icon on the dock and in the "options" menu under "assign to" select "this desktop".
