Hey guys. I am about to swap my macbook pro with my sisters. We both have the same 13" model except hers is a 2.26 core2duo and mine is an i5. Could we just physically swap the two hard drives over into the new machines? Or would that not work? What would be the best way to swap laptops and keep all our data intact?

Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.

Yes you can just swap the hard drives, I assume yours is a 2011 or 2012 model and hers is a 2009 both cMBP.
