Swapping logic boards between 2011 and 2012 MBP's

Hi all,

My 15" 2012 MBP is great, one of the last of the ones you can upgrade.

I'd like to upgrade it further, using the one of the last 17" MBP's.

Simple Q - Will a 2012 15" MBP logic board with the non-failure-prone discreet graphics go into a 2011 17" MBP?

Completely different mountings I'm afraid. The 17" MBP Logic Board is considerably larger than the 15" board and has different screw placement to match. I believe the video connector is also different on the larger display.
