I have read many posts to this effect but if i could ask a couple of points.
I have a replacemnt Unibody MBP on its way. Apple insist that i dont swap the hard drives on the notebooks as a means of transferring all my data.
If i clone the hard disk, will windows detect its a different machine and refuse to work? Will i need to deauthorise/authorise my itunes account? How can i make sure that any of my data does not get passed onto a future refurb buyer, i assume apple wont want me to ruturn a notebook with a a blank hardrive?
Would Apple even know or care if i swap the drive. They even wanted to make sure the old notebook was returned in its box and not the box the replacement comes in, seems quite picky.
ANY help on on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
