Swapping Phones

So I currently have a iPhone 4 and I just ordered an iPhone 4S under my wifes account on our family plan.

If I activate the iPhone 4S under my account and give her my iPhone 4 to use on her account should I have any problems?

Does the phone need to be activated under the ordered account?

Call your carrier to find out how. I'm sure you may do it.

It should work. I've been through 4+ 3G phones, 2+ 3GS phones and all I did was restore and reactivate. Like Brian suggested, contact your carrier to find out for sure.

You'll have to pop out your sim cards and put your wife's in the 4 and yours in the 4s so that your number wont change to your wife's.
