Swapping phones

Guys,
I have a first generation iPhone and my wife has the same, I have just upgraded the firmware to 2.0 on both of these phones and they work great.
My question is my wife wants us to swap phones as hers has a few more knocks and scratches on it than mine does, so how do we re-sync the phones so that her data is on my phone and vice versa, note we both have our own Macbooks
