Swapping PSU in Blue & White G3

Hi All

I've been hoping to use an old B&W as a media server in my living room. The problem is, this thing is bloody loud (the fan goes full time, even when sleeping).

I've done some research and from what I can gather (at least from this page) the B&W uses a standard ATX power supply with modified cabling.

Do you think it's feasible to add a modified modern near silent ATX power supply to this thing to cut down on the wind tunnel affect in my living room?

You'll need an extension cable or two for the ATX plugs, but yes. Look up the diagrams on xlr8yourmac.com
