Greetings,

I have a mid 2010 (white unibody) Macbook with 2gb ram. I have a Windows laptop which is Lenovo Thinkpad Edge model with 4gb ram having specifications of DDR3 PC3-8500 1066 which seems to be the same as the ram required by Macbook. Can I swap the ram because I use Macbook more than the Lenovo? Will these ram be compatible with both the laptops?

Regards,

Abdul Shaikh

It should work. Intel based Macs are not as picky as the old PPC Macs were. You can pretty much throw in anything that matches the specs. Sure there are exceptions, but those are few and far between.
