I have a 2015 27" iMac sitting around with defective GPU that nobody wants to repair but it has an 1 TB SSD blade in it.
I recently bought a rMPB 15" 2014 and it has "only" a 512 GB SSD in it.
After watching a tutorial how to swasp the SSD blade in the iMac (basically disassembling the entire computer), can anybody tell me for sure if the 2015 iMac and the rMBP 2014 use compatible SSDs? Would prefer not to begin the work only to see at the end that the swap is not possible.
