Didn't watch the whole video but that looks pretty ugly to me. I use a braeburn acoustics passthrough dock which is a quarter of the price.

Downsides -Looks like this dock offers more support, but I don't feel I really need that, I really use it as a stand at night so doesn't get used whilst docked!

Good find on that other dock. Going look into that one as well. Thanks!!

No problem! I actually bought it a while back just when they started shipping internationally, was a bit of a hassle as the system wasn't showing the option to ship outside US so I got a generous discount which was nice!

Good company with great communication and customer service.

Very nice dock for $25, just want to check, but does the dock allow easy one handed docking just like their video shows?

FWIW, Apple is finally selling a dock for the iphone 5 on their web site. Made by Belkin.

There is no way that thing is less heavier than the RokDock and the RokDock has a little bit of problem....Is the Braeburn using DBL sided tape of something....The only thing that can do that is weight, right?

It does use adhesive tape yes, however it is reusable, and washable with just water or I think soap as well. When I first got it I brought it to and from work every week/weekend for about 2 months and it's just as sticky as ever, didn't damage any surfaces I put it on either - magical stuff!

Nice! Must be the stuff they use on the dashboard/windshield things...kinda gooey?

You are correct. What's so special about the second dock?

The second dock is inferior. You had to provide your own cable and it would pull out every time you tried to remove phone. I sent that one back. The first on has the connector built into the dock.
