swf soooo slow?

can someone tell me why even the smallest .swf files run sooooo much slower on the mac. Its a real pain. The frame rates are great on a PC

taht happens to me on OS 9.2 and IE 5... runs excelent on a PC, even pentium II and crappy on my eMac 800mhz or iMac G3-233...

its been like it forever tho! you would've thought they'd be able to get them on par by now. Maybe now Adobe are in control they might be able to manage it.

Write them an email and complain! Something must be done. I am boggled by the poor flash performance on Macs... but it's definitely something Macromedia is in charge of fixing.
