I have a Series 3. I did a swim yesterday, the first swim after installing Watch OS 5. And the tracking was completely broken. I did 150 laps, it counted 15 laps. I did reboot the watch while swimming but it didn't fix anything.

Anyone have a similar issue?

I've had this issue since updating my Series 3 watch to Watch OS 5 and 5.0.1. Normally swim about 2,000 yards in about 40 minutes. Prior to the update, the watch was amazingly accurate in displaying stroke type, and counting laps and strokes. Since the update, it's way off. It only gets the amount of time in the pool correct. Today I swam 2,000 yards in 41 minutes, 80 lengths @ 25 yards. The watch reported 550 yards and 22 lengths @ 25 yards (and only 90 calories...usually over 400). I've turned the watch on and off, did a hard reset, forced quit the Workout app, and even reset the calibration data. I've called Apple Support and have an open case. I think they broke the swim tracking with the new OS. I would like to be able to go back to Watch OS 4, but Apple is telling me I can't.
