Swipe back gesture

Greetings,

I've been wondering, now with the bigger iphones, if the swipe back gestures works everywhere on all apps? Reachability seems ok, but can get annoying if you have to use it all the time you have to go back.

I don't have an iphone but can the swipe back gesture replace the back button completely?

no. It does NOT work on every app

Swipe back gesture

But a double "tap" of the home button brings the screen down to reach the top. Works good on 6+.
