How cool would it be to swipe left or right to go back/forth between pages in Safari? Wonder why they didn't design it that way. Same for month view in Cal. Heck why not in the iPod app too? They do it now with the Remote app.

Maybe we'll see more swipe gestures as time goes on...

What say you?

How will that work when some webpages are wide and you have to swipe left and right to see the whole page?
 
Well when you're dragging the screen with your finger, it's considerably slower and more deliberate than a quick swipe. The software could easily differentiate.
 
Firefox has three finger back/forward gestures. Just one of the many reasons I can't use Safari. I love that feature. Back-buttons, what are those?

...You do realize you are in an iPhone forum right? lol :p

On topic though, it would be cool to have if it was maybe a two finger swipe on the screen, since one finger drags around the page.

Ya, I fixed it. I'm was on Forum spy and the Mac Applications forum. Twas confused. :)
