Swipe up/down with 3/4 fingers does the same behaviors?

Does anybody know why apple did the same behavior for swipe up and down with 3 and 4 fingers? Swipe up - mission control, down - expose. Both work with 3 or 4 fingers and no change to make it work only with 4. I used to use 3 fingers swipe up/down in Reeder, now it does not work.

I found a solution. If you press on Alt key you can actually perform the job. Not sure what your settings are but try alt + three/four finger swipe up/down.

Actually, i noticed that holding alt key doesn't work always. Seems something is bugged.

There is a bug in there somewhere. I switched a few gestures around last night and for awhile every swipe up (2, 3, or 4 fingers) would launch Mission Control. I rebooted, reset to default gestures, unchecked all gestures, changed things in BTT.... nothing fixed this. Then suddenly after a few hours it started working correctly again.
