Swipe up to go home stops working

iPhone 14 pro max on 16.0.3.

Happens probably 10x per day. In an app and I swipe up to go home and it doesn’t go home. I just get some haptic feedback but nothing else. I can fix it quickly by hitting the power button to lock my phone then open it again, but it’s annoying.

Anyone else come across this or have a fix?

I’ve had this happen a few times as well, not a good feeling.
