Swipeselect & other great Apple non features

Can anyone tell me if there are any custom keyboards or hacks like the fabulous swipeselect that I had on my previous iPAD 3. I switched to the Nexus 7 mid year and I have to tell you Google is miles ahead of IOS now in terms of sheer usability and utility of their Tablets. I forgot that some of the features I had with my jailbroken iPad 3 and I gave my Nexus to the wife and bought an iPad 4 yesterday. I fired it up today and went to work and the onscreen keyboard took me right back to 2007. Since I cant jailbreak, are there any way to get features Apple has not yet copied from the jailbreakers yet. My feeling is Apple should either steal all of that jailbroken talent and pay them for it or leave them alone to make these otherwise great tablets work to their full potential. Before someone suggests it I have no use for a bluetooth keyboard, I have a 15" retina for serious work. I just feel like they have lost their way at Apple. Thanks for any possible help my good people
