Swiping up or down doesn’t work occasionally

Anyone else having problems swiping up or down on their series 7 for Notification/Control center?
Swiping left or right works just fine and everything else responds just fine. But the up/down swipes are totally unresponsive and only a force restart fixes it.

I have the same issue, but I did on my series 5 as well. It's so frustrating!

Had the same issue, it ended with refund. The unit was defective, lucky the next one is working perfectly fine

Exactly what’s happening with my 7. Everything else but the two gestures work great.

Not quite the same as you describe but I have a similar “missed touch/swipe” issue on my space black titanium. I have the stainless steel graphite and the display seems more responsive. Probably return the titanium & keep the graphite as the issue is enough to bother me. I will say its a small issue w rare occurrence though.

Funny thing is it doesn’t happen all the time. Just a couple times so far but doesn’t go away until a force reset.

So hard reset cancel the issue so it shouldn’t be a hardware. Hardware should cause it doesn’t work permanently.
No idea why it happened, in between it worked just fine both swiping up and down and also Haptic Touch the edges to show cc and notifications.
Very annoying bug
