Swisscom announces iPhone for Switzerland

Swisscom announced today that they will be "bringing the iPhone" to Switzerland later this year. You can register to recieve more information.

Swisscom is the lagest carrier in Switzerland.

i know the swiss have harsh laws for the locking of phones... i am not sure what they are. but at one stage that all phones sold there are unlocked. i hope apple will sell the iPhone unlocked there easily..

do you guys reckon that apple will make it easier to unlock an iPhone as they have signed up with several carriers around the world?

i sincerely hope so.
