Switch SIM Cards

I have an iPhone 3G.
My wife has a Moto RAZR.

I'm not eligible for an upgrade.
She is eligible for an upgrade.

I want the new iPhone.
My wife wants my iPhone 3G.

Can I upgrade her phone to the new iPhone and switch the SIM cards around? Is that even ethical or legal?

Do you have to reactivate your iphones if you switch with them?

You can do that but just make sure you have the iPhone data plan changed also or it could get you in trouble with AT&T. I would recommend calling AT&T after you leave the store and call and say "you were checking to see if they did it correctly." LOL
