Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to switch to next or previous window in a mac? I am using a macbook pro, and before I formatted my laptop, I could switch between two windows by using control + left/right arrow. Whenever I used that command, something like the picture below would appear in the screen, and all the windows moved to the left, or right, and a fresh desktop screen would appear. I could switch the desktops with different set of applications running in both of them.

I searched for it, and according to some wikipedia topic about shortcut keys, control + left/right arrow is only available in leopard. But I could use it in Snow Leopard as well. I would appreciate it if someone can teach me how to enable the command again. :(

Thanks in advance..

I believe you're referring to spaces, correct? If so, go to system preferences and under the "Personal" section go to expose & spaces. Enable spaces in the "spaces" tab and in this same section you can set the number of 'spaces' and the command to switch between them.

Just to be clear, when using Spaces, you are not switching to different "windows" or "desktops" you are switching to different spaces. All spaces can have multiple windows open in them. There is only one Desktop.
