So, while I've seen tons of speculation on the forum on all the components of unannounced upcoming MBPs, there's one thing that I'm actually really curious about: What will the graphics switching be on the new model? And, will Apple give Windows the ability to use the switching? I know for 99% of MBP users, it's irrelevant, but frankly, I run windows on mac, and I'd love to see the vastly improved battery life.

If Apple decides to switch to Optimus, it would be trivial to implement switching in Windows. However, I think it's more likely that Apple decides to continue with a proprietary implementation, if only because they have a history of doing things their own way. Also, at least some speculation points to ATI (AMD, I guess) cards in the next MBP. So, perhaps Apple would keep their own implementation, so that they can do it one way for all models/graphic cards?

Any wild speculation or opinions? Anyone else hoping for a change in graphics switching, or for it to come to windows? Any opinions on Optimus vs. Apple graphics switching?

P.S. Not looking for a "You run windows on a mac?!' discussion. Apple makes the best hardware, I prefer using Windows.
