Is purchasing this type of item on eBay safe? I've often been burned by knockoffs in the past and I was wondering if anyone else has purchased this type of item from eBay before.

I've seen several listings at about $20 with free shipping which is significantly cheaper than ordering from SwitchEasy.

you don't have to worry.

i didn't saw fake serpents yet.

for the regular rebels,
just buy from good seller (150+ feedbacks and 95% positive) and if you can't find "original" on the product page, ask the seller with a private message.

anyway, when your case will arrive you'll see if its not original, they all use soft silicone instead the polymer.
and paypal will take care for you money.
