those are two very different case styles and i think they're a bit hard to compare to each other. will this be an every-day case for you? or is it primarily for when you're at work or school?

vaja cases are fabulous - i reviewed the i-volution top holster and absolutely love it. it's a very classy case and i like the screen protection it offers. but i often end up using my incase protective cover when i know i'm going to be out and about and want to be able to get to my iphone's screen with one hand, which is not easy with the vaja case.

i've heard very good things about the capsule case and am tempted to get one myself to try it out. it looks like the corners of the iphone will have much better protection in case of a drop compared to the vaja case.

is the switcheasy case in apple stores yet? if so, you may want to go see one in person if possible.

if you want a professional, high-end looking case for your iphone with good screen protection, the vaja is for you. i think the switcheasy case is also good in most situations and will offer good overall protection as well. i'd vote you get both of them! :D i have multiple cases for my iphone and i use them all depending on what i'm doing and where i'm going - unfortunately, i haven't found one case that is perfect for all occasions.

Yeah... I guess I would like one case for all occasions, but i am probably asking too much... The biggest problem i have is that i live in belgium, and they dont have any iPhone cases in apple stores. If i could see both in person, or just one of them, it wouldnt be much easier to make that decision. I would like to have one case for school, going out, and everything really.

I like vaja case, but im not sure it protects the corners of the phone that well... and what material is the inside cover of the vaja case, the inside of the part that protects the screen? is it leather or does it have some other softer material that touches the screen?

I also like switcheasy capsule, but i just hope it wouldnt scratch the iPhone, as there are many reports of cases scratching the phone. I read many reviews, but no people reported scratches as a result of using it. furthermore, all the people whose reviews i read who have this case seem to be 100% satisfied...

All i want is for my iphone to be protected without looking bulky... If i did not care about how it looked, i would go for the otterbox defender series case. I would have just bought capsule, but i think i want to be able to take my iphone out of the case, and the vaja offers this...

the inside of the vaja case is also leather (it's stamped with the vaja logo - you can see a picture of it in my review). i haven't observed it to adversely affect my iphone in any way and i never worry about it at all.

you're right that all of the corners of the iphone aren't fully protected in the vaja case - while the bottom is covered when the case is closed, the top corners are exposed.

and i'll say that having the rivet clip on the vaja case makes it much easier to remove the iphone since it offers an area to apply leverage to slide it out. the case is quite snug, and without the clip, i think it would be too easy to damage the case while trying to get a good enough grip to slide the iphone out.

just food for thought for you - i still vote that you get both! ;)

I'm getting one for sure now, thx! not the capsule, just vaja. Now its a matter of time, since i cant decide what colour combo i'd like:( perhaps you could tell me what you think looks nice:p I'm currently thinking of black as the main colour and then perhaps limeade to accompany it.... or just white.. cant decide...

i'm sure you'll love it! there are so many colors to choose from - it makes it difficult to pick just 2. i think black is the best main color since this is an item that will be handled a lot and could pick up a lot of dirt. i like a lot of their brighter colors for the accent strip - my current favorite accent color is orange, so i'd pick that if i were to get another one. is there any color that you particularly favor at the moment? i do like the limeade, but i like the dark citron color a little better in comparison. white would look really cool, but i'd just be worried about it showing dirt over time. i had one of their cases before in black with red accents and it looked really sharp, so the rosso stripe color would also be nice, imo.

hey! just ordered my vaja case:) it's black with a lemon stripe... i'll post some pics when i get it, in 25 days that is... cant wait! thx for your advice and recommendations!

I just got the Switcheasy Capsule with the Visionclip today. It does a great job at what it does, but I don't like the plastic feel. It's the black one with their red logo on it. I would sell it and the clip for $40 and I'll ship; I paid $48.98. I don't have the packing, but I have everything else. I'll probably put it on eBay this weekend.
