SwitchEasy Colors problem

Hi. I just received my SwitchEasy Colors case today and I've got a problem.
The case doesn't fit well on the sides and on the upper part of the phone, there's a little stretching and, as far as I recall this didn't happen with my 3GS case.

Is the case faulty, or is it how they are made?
