Switcheasy Vulcan vs. Ballistic Lifestyle

I'm trying to decide between these two cases and would like some imput. I like the slimness of the Vulcan but it doesn't look like it provides a lot of drop protection. Any thoughts?

Vulcan is a great case, and it does offer decent drop protection. It's a nice solid TPU case, so it does absorb impact on a drop, and it's well covered, including a lay on the table design.

How hard of a case is it? I had the Griffin Reveal case and dust got in and the hard plastic back scratched the back of my phone. I dont want that to happen with this case.

It's the soft TPU style case. Not hard case, but not silicon. Soft and flexible, also durable and doesn't scratch. I like the case a lot.

Most likely not since its not an extremely tight fitting case

I just got this case in the mail. Mine does not fix sound on the phone. It bows out on the sides. Does your case fit right? It's almost as if there's too much material on the inseam of the case prohibiting the phone from sitting right.

Received my Vulcan today, mine is the same as yours, bows out quite a bit on the sides, doesn't seem its tight enough. Also quite a bit thicker than I thought.

Mine is a white iPhone with the clear case, not sure if this makes a difference in comparison if yours isn't fitting right either.

Has anyone used the Vulcan on a 4S?

I just received a Ultra Clear and even though the packaging says it's compatible with 4/4S the mute switch doesn't align correctly.

Btw, this case looks great with the white iPhone. Loving the look other than the mute switch situation.

Exactly the same situation here. Also clear Vulcan and white iPhone 4s... Sides bow out, the case on the iPhone looks like an undersized clothing on a person... I can't believe they've made this otherwise excellent case a little bit too small...
