I love blues. Current watch, iphone, case are all last year's blues.

However, when I looked at the new Sierra Blue in Apples photo with my preferred blue jay silicone case...
It just didn't look right.

The only part of the Sierra Blue color that will show through with a case (and I *always* have a case on) is the lens area color.
A Graphite lens color looks so much better with a Blue Jay silicone case
A Sierra Blue lens color just looks washed out.

It's like the people who designed the Blue Jay silicone case color did it without knowing the iPhone color would be that really pale shade of baby blue this year.

You messed up. Go ahead and cancel it or you know you're going to regret it later.

Change the case not the phone.

But also... Sierra Blue is *Carolina* Blue...
It's even paler than Carolina Blue

I prefer the more saturated Duke Blue

(and I promise not just because I was a blue devil for undergraduate...)

Hey there Tim Cook, as a Duke mba school alumni, could you please make a silicone case in the Duke Blue pantone?
Pleeease?

I was the other way around. Blue was decent but seemed too girly and pastel for me at least. Would of definitely regretted it. The hype of these new colors is overblown similar to last years Pacific Blue. More than half will throw their phones in a case taking away the aesthetics of the phone anyway.
