Switched to Seagate Momentus X Hybrid Drive - what's the beep??

All seems fine - working well and very fast.....but I seem to get occasional - say 3 times in five minutes - beeps from my machine. These come from where the drive is housed, so can only assume related to the new drive.

What would be the reason for this?

Not sure what it is but try resetting pram and the other thing.

its a known issue, mine was fine on sd24 then i upgraded to sd25 and the beeping started. but it doesnt affect anything else it runs fine. u might find more info on the seagate forums. so i guess we just wait for an firmware update now.

I haven't heard any deeps from mine... that's strange.
