Nice app that lets you tweak some settings with the apple task switcher. Best feature that had me sold was the ability to show the ipod controls when a song is playing by default when opening the task switcher!

This works really well. They also have an option to enable torch from the lockscreen, although I cant get it to work. Can you?

Im aware of that, Im speaking of the torch that is implemented in this program specifically...

Sadly I can't get Favorites to work. Settings I make disappear when I leave the Favorites screen in the settings app. It's a shame, because I've wanted something like this.

What I really want is a tool that will do one or both of the following:

1) Automatically give preference in the switcher to apps that are actually doing something (i.e., that are using one of the APIs other than Fast App Switching).

2) Automatically kill apps that are only using Fast App Switching.

Are you at least using Remove Recents so that all that is in the app switcher are running apps?

And this might be native functionality, but I like that you can hold down an app in the app switcher until they wiggle, and kill the apps you don't want running in the background.

What does this add? Does it add Spotlight to the app switcher?

thelatinist - Why do you want to kill apps using fast app switching? Personally, I am no longer worried about whats running natively. I have faith in the system Apple implemented. I have noticed not as much free RAM, but whats the point in having a lot of RAM if you're not using it?

Chpwn made a good blog post about it.

wow i just realized this allows you to delete all apps in the switcher with one tap

Noticed that too bosh. This would've been pretty sweet on 3.x. But as I said, there really isn't any reason to quit apps anymore.
