This rumor from Kuo has been floating around for a few months and seems to be gaining traction again: https://www.macrumors.com/2019/07/04/apple-to-use-scissor-switch-keyboard-macbooks/

So let's say that 2020 brings us MacBooks with "proper" scissor-switch keyboards like they had until 2016. Would that be enough for you to return to the platform (asking only people who have already decided to switch to PCs already, of course)? Or will Apple need to do something more than go back to a reliable keyboard mechanism to regain your trust again, such as having socketed SSDs, etc?

I'm not a switch however I would definitely jump over to a new keyboard design (15" or 16") as soon as new models are out.

Freaking tired of replacing my keyboard every 6 months it's starting to annoy the hell out of me.
