i've always had a blackberry..

I currently have a 9700 blackberry. Updating to newer, sturdier, faster devices is great. But with each blackberry i've upgraded...nothing new comes with it lol? Tried the 8330, 8900, storm 1 and 2...etc.

Like, I'm paying for a data plan to use BBM/Email/Browsing. And browsing should be free considering how horrible it is to browse on a blackberry, regardless of how new or old the device is, it's still terrible, slow and never loads properly.

And playing with my best friends iPhone literally depresses me on how far advanced it is over the blackberry in every aspect.

Apps are non existant, and well everything is bad.

So i'm finally switching over to iPhone on release day. so just a few questions for you experts (sorry if these been answered before)

1. How far after the WWDC on average, does the phone get released on major carriers in canada (rogers, bell, telus etc). Are there any expected days for it to come out this month?

2. What kinda data plan is best (regardless of carrier) keep in mind, using apps, browsing alot, etc. I've heard never to go under 6GB or unlimited plan

3. Anything else i should know?

4. how much is this expected to cost on a 3 year? or outright? still expecting 3GS 800$+ new prices?
