Hi all

Does anyone have any experience of switching AppleCare from one new iPhone to another or alternative simply removing and refunding the AppleCare immediately after delivery ?

The scenario is that I have purchased 2 x 13PM, only one with AppleCare and I need to switch it.

You will have to call and cancel, and get a refund

AppleCare is per-device only. You can’t switch it to another device, but you can cancel it for a refund. Then just buy your new plan for the other phone.

Side note: You can also cancel it at a later date (like if you get a new phone next year) and they will give you a partial refund for the remaining timeframe you didn’t use.

If you go into settings on your current iPhone, click your name along the top, then click subscriptions you can cancel your applecare on there. Might just be if you pay monthly but worth a try 👍
