Hi,

I use a Windows 10 laptop for work and MBP for study, both sit on a laptop stand and I interchange them as needed daily.

I use a Magic Mouse and keyboard with my MBP that also connected with the Windows laptop, however when I want to change between the two laptops, I have to set up both the mouse and keyboard each time (seemingly more of a problem on the Mac)

Is there a simple quick 'switch' or some sort that I can disconnect easily both devices and auto-reconnect when I need to?

Thanks!

I use a KVM between my MP7,1 and my Win10 box and it works fine. I don't have to setup the keyboard each time.

Purchased the Logitech Craft keyboard and Vertical mouse, both connected to the Mac mini and Windows10 Laptop, can switch between them by a simple press of a button - or there's the alternative iGobbleoff mentioned, use a USB Switch Selector (KVM) widely available on Amazon

I use a Satechi compact keyboard. It can connect to up to three devices. Currently I use it with my Mac Mini, iPad Pro, and iPhone XS. But I can also connect it to my Windows work laptop, although I'm using a separate keyboard for that. An Apple extended keyboard USB keyboard actually. I am very pleased with the Satechi keyboard.

I also use a Logitech MX Master 3 mouse, that I use with both the Mac Mini and the Windows laptop. As BIOckHe1d mentions, a press of a button, albeit on the bottom of the mouse, switches between the two. It can be paired with up to three devices. And there is software from Logitech that allows the mouse to switch from Window to Mac seamlessly, although my IT department won't let me install it on my work laptop. I am very pleased with this mouse as well.

Good luck whatever you decide to do.
