All iPads Switching data plan from iPad 3 to mini

What's the best way to do this with Verizon iPads? Is it possible to have two sims so I can use either iPad with cellular... Just one at a time?

Tomorrow I need the iPad 3 in the morning and the mini in the afternoon.

I believe that in order to do that, you'll need to get a SIM adapter, and swap the SIM between the 3 and mini as needed. Not sure if you can get a SIM adapter in time to help you out tomorrow, though. I know you can order them online, not sure if there's anywhere you can walk in to buy one.
