My cousin gave me her old iphones that the apple store claimed were broken. I'm not sure what they were thinking, but I got both of them working. One of them was her friends old 16gb, and the other is her old 8gb. I'm using the 16gb one, but her friend wants it back. I tried putting my SIM card into the 8GB and AT&T wants me to create a new contract by adding another $20+ data plan. Am I doing this wrong? I figured after logging into my Apple account it would recognize the fact that I already have an iphone contract so it should be an easy swap. What's up with that?
