Hi Everyone,

Recently I just got a Macbook Pro. I've got a two year old Samsung Galaxy S6 and want to go all in and switch to IPhone.

It's been forever since I've had one (Iphone 2). After the announcement is made what are my best chances to get an IPhone? I have Tmobile. Do I camp out at a Apple Store? Go to a Tmobile store? Not sure what the best process is and would appreciate any guidance.

I'm hearing rumors that the high end one will not be released right away.

Thanks!

Pre-ordering online is the most hassle free way to get an iPhone, even if you're on a backorder. The other option is to camp in front of a store, but that's too chaotic to even attempt. I heard people were sleeping in parking garages at a local mall to go get the iPhone 6s/6s+.

Or wait for the price drop on existing iPhone model when the new model is announced... At this stage there's no drivers to get the so far unknown from a feature point of view phone.

Or just get the S8...

People who still camps out have way too much free time in hand.
Or find this to be an exciting time of year? When I worked at Apple a few years ago, the people in the front of the line were a school Superintendent and IT Manager. They certainly have busy lives, but took a day off to enjoy something that matters to them. I bet they spend less time camping out than many users spend on these forums talking about phone rumors :)

A few years ago situation was different though.
