Hi,

So I have a 13.3" 2.4 GHz MacBook (Black) that was released in early 2008. After numerous problems, I've decided to junk the computer and sell it for parts (the Logic Board was fried). Anyway, my girlfriend owns a 13.3" 2.16 GHz MacBook (White) that was released in mid 2007. She has a smaller hard drive than the Black MacBook and I was wondering if I could just swap the drives.

My question to everyone is if I will encounter any problems by merely swapping my Black MacBook hard drive with her hard drive.

Any information/help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Yes you can & it's pretty easy.

Simply select your model from the user guide list and follow the instructions included in the user guild about replacing your hard drive.
