Switching HDDs between 2010 MBPs?

I've recently purchased a refurbished 17" i7 Macbook Pro, I want to take the intel SSD out of my current 15" i7 Macbook Pro and put it in the 17".

Does anybody know if this will "just work" or do I need to re-install OSX once it's inside the 17"?
