Well I have pretty much had it with using my PC to sync my iPhone. Half the time it doesn't recognize it, a lot of times it will me give me an "device timed out" or other error messages.

Since I have a MBP, I am going to start using that. However, I have a lot of music, videos, contacts, etc on the iPhone. Am I going to lose all that? I can transfer my music over to the MBP - would I just need to resync everything?

Thanks :)

You should/might be able to just sync it there, I remember reading that you could sync it with two computers in the paperwork that accompanied the iPhone, I have synced it on both of my Macs with no problem, plug it in and see if it'll do it or pop that message up that says your device is associated with another iTunes do you want to delete the info, it doesn't automatically delete it ask permission first.
