I am going to the beach this weekend and do not want to take my good iPhone 3G with me. Is it possibly to put my SIM card in my old Phone and use it for the day? I wasnt sure if it would work. I am afraid I might mess it up somehow. Any suggestions?

I use my 3G plan on my first gen iPhone just so I can have the flexibility of using whatever phone I want without having to call AT&T every time I change my mind. They haven't said anything yet. Heck, why would they complain that I'm paying them more than I should?

Do all I have to do is throw my SIM card in - turn it on and it will work? I dont have to connect it to itunes or anything right?
