I've got a chance to get a smoking good deal on a Pismo - the problem is that its hinges are gone (the LCD won't stand up anymore).
Now, its my luck that I have a couple of Lombards sitting around (I find the Lombard to be a good, cheap, machine that I can do up for people to run Panther and other basic software). One of them has dead USB ports and a broken up processor (the ram tabs are snapped on the top unit).
So, here's my question - can I switch the displays? My understanding is that they're indentical, save for the Airport Antenna on the Pismo.
Or, alternatively, can I switch the hinges between the two?
