If I got an iPhone 5 last year on a new two-year contract and wanted to switch to an AT&T Next plan now to facilitate getting a new iPhone each year, would I have to pay off the remaining year on my contract from last year?

Or would the contract from last year be replaced by the new AT&T Next plan?

Thanks.

That question is best asked to an ATT customer service rep.

If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say you would need to fulfill the terms of your contract before embracing a new plan.

Thanks, I thought so.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the AT&T Next program? It seems like a good option for those people who know they will want the latest iPhone hardware each year - it avoids having to pay early upgrade fees and worry about selling last year's iPhone every year...
