So if I want to switch to FaceTime in the middle of the call, I'll need to hang up then call back using FaceTime option?

ReallyBigFeet macrumors 68030 Apr 15, 2010 2,956 133 Feb 4, 2011 #2 No simultaneous voice+data ONLY applies to using Verizon carrier signals. You can use voice or data on Verizon while simultaneously using WiFi. Facetime only works with WiFi anyways.
