Hi all

I've purchased the new Dell 24" P2415Q monitor and plugged it into my mid 2014 rMBP 13"

I know its only going to support 30hz with DP1.2 with my current laptop, so thinking of buying the new 2015 or wait for 15" upgrade

Anyway I hear and read people have used SwitchResX to get 52hz so nearly 60hz

How ? I cannot get this working

I'm currently running 3840 x 2160 30z scaled to 1080P, looks amazing but fairly laggy with mouse and screen updates.

I'm trying to see if the 60hz or near as makes the difference and worth me upgrading to a laptop which can support this mode
