Is swype for iPhone coming to iPhone even through jailbreak means?
I hope apple adopts this feature as well. Used it on my wifes samsung vibrant and It almost feels so natural that you don't feel like going back to typing.
Damnit... NO! SEARCH! SEARCH! DAMNIT SEARCH!
LOL.. I know... I think I am going to put that in my sig already..![]()
MacRumors search sucks, most new people don't know about Mroogle.
I hope forums adopt a feature where, instead of creating new topics, I can just see if someone talked about it already and get my answers that way. That'd be grand.
While I see your point, no one's forcing you to read these threads, you know.
I figure if I bitch and moan about it enough, people will be scared to post new topics and will search first to ease their anxiety.
You must be new to the internet.I figure if I bitch and moan about it enough, people will be scared to post new topics and will search first to ease their anxiety.
I figure if I bitch and moan about it enough, people will get so irritated by the immaturity here and will go elsewhere for answers.

I'll end this discussion right now. Swype is not coming to the iPhone. As far as a jailbreak, it's possible, but for a standard feature Apple implements themselves, it won't happen. I've said this countless times before, but I'll say it again: Steve said "no". How do I know this? I emailed him about three months ago requesting the feature. His reply? How does it suck when I just searched for Swype and two pages of results came up. 4 threads answering how Swype will never come to the iOS.

"Actually, its not so good. We have tested it and other variants a lot and its not nearly as good as our current keyboard."
Satisfied? Now please, do me a favor, and stop asking!
Thanks.![]()

Seems more reasonable worded this way.
Correction: Not gloating, just informing. So what if he replied? There's no need to swear about it.Ok now it's almost like you're gloating bc SJ actually responded to you. THis is at least the second thread in two days where i've seen you reply including that you emailed him. Who gives a rats ass? So since HE says its not so good, then it must not be? Funny because MOST people that use it seem to really like it. So who is right? SJ or the public? I'm sure you think it's SJ. Just a shot in the dark on that one.
If Apple was fair, they'd allow people the CHOICE to have a different text input. Ha, so much for that.
