Swype/swift key question

I am experimenting with both Swype and Swift key. I'm finding Swype to be more accurate translating my swipes directly to the keyboard, but almost bizarrely inaccurate with its predictive word suggestions. The suggestions often seem to have no connection to the spelling of the word I'm trying to type. Swift key on the other hand is a little less accurate on the initial Swipe words, but very good on the words they suggest/predict. Any suggestions on something I can do to make the Swype predictions more accurate?
